Sarah Warren, PhD

Sarah Warren is a nationally renowned psychologist with over three decades of psychological consultation experience in high-stakes contexts. 

 

Having served as an evaluator for NFL players, Dr. Warren brings a depth of assessment expertise for individuals in high-stakes contexts. 

​

From enhancing emotional intelligence as well as interpersonal intelligence, to cultivating resilience in the face of complex change and chaos in the economy to crisis intervention, Dr. Warren taps into her deep expertise in the science and complexities of human behavior. 

​

Dr. Warren has coached decision-makers to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves as leaders and of their teams in order to enhance business performance.

 

For over thirty years, she has worked with businesses across industries to support highly valued leaders whose performance or behavior may be impacted by stress, burnout, mental health, substance use, or other sources of distress. 

 

She created the Psychodynamic-Systemic Model for Executive Interventions to address leaders in distress. 

 

Dr. Warren has consulted primarily to small- to mid-sized family businesses as well as non-family businesses with global footprints in various industries in the Chicago area and beyond.

Throughout her career she has worked with industry leaders to gain deep self-awareness, improve emotional and interpersonal intelligence, and cultivate resilience in the service of enhanced well-being and well-honed decision-making. 

 

Originally from Boston, she earned her undergraduate degree in Social Sciences at the University of Michigan (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude).

 

She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University Medical School (Feinberg School of Medicine). She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Warren lives in the Chicago area with her husband in a three-generation household – where they make it work. She is the mother of two young adults who are emerging into delightful and decent people who want to make a difference through their chosen vocations.
